Crawford

Robert Crawford is Professor of Advertising in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University. His research focuses on the history of marketing and advertising. Prof. Crawford’s most recent book is More than a Glass and Half: A History of Cadbury in Australia (2022).

Dr Matthew
Bailey

Matthew Bailey is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History and Archaeology at Macquarie University. He researches retail, business and urban history. His book, Managing the Marketplace: Reinventing Shopping Centres in Post-War Australia (Routledge, 2020) is the first book on the subject.

Dr Catherine
Bishop

Catherine Bishop is a postdoctoral fellow at Macquarie University, with an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award for ‘Gendered Enterprise: A History of Australian Businesswomen Since 1880’. She has also written a biography of a female missionary and is researching the history of a world youth forum.
